Australian electro pop goddesses The Veronicas will spearhead a star-studded line-up for the third Surfers Paradise Live festival when it amps up in the entertainment heart of the Gold Coast from April 28 to 30.
Live transforms the centre of Surfers Paradise into a free, family-friendly multi-stage street festival that celebrates the best of Australian live music across a diverse array of genres and artists, with iconic Surfers Paradise beach as the unique backdrop.
The Veronicas will touch down at Live ahead of the release of their upcoming fourth album, alongside big names including Eskimo Joe, Taxiride, Mental as Anything, Pseudo Echo and 1927, as well as a host of local and emerging acts.
An initiative of the Surfers Paradise Alliance, Live will feature an impressive mix of Australian musicians performing across two main outdoor stages on The Esplanade and in Cavill Avenue over three days and nights, and smaller and more intimate gigs will play at live music venues throughout the precinct.
For the first time, the Surfers Paradise Alliance has partnered with the Gold Coast Music Awards (GCMA), which will see the awards ceremony take place on Surfers Paradise beach on the eve of the festival, Thursday April 27.
The full-line up and further details will be announced in coming months. To stay updates, keep an eye on www.surfersparadise.com
