This year Australia and NZ go plugger to jandal in a week-long 16 tap take-over, featuring the best in local craft beer from across the pond…and because ol’ fashioned show downs don’t start without a coupla’ name drops—we will be rolling up our sleeves in the company of Panhead, Sydney Brewery, Grifter, Yeastie Boys…and many, many more!

Pair these brews with The Dog’s culturally inspired meal specials—or confuse the system by washing your fush & chups down with some top-notch Strayin’ liquid gold. Bloody oath.

The Dog Hotel in Randwick will host the definitive Aus V. NZ Show Down: Week-Long Tap Takeover. Pouring across 16 taps, this show down will feature the very best in local craft beer across both countries. You decide the favourite whilst cleansing your palate across a selection of brews from Panhead, Sydney Brewery, 4 Pines, Grifter, Yeastie Boys and many, many more!

…and because a heated dispute is best settled over a cold beer and a hot meal, The Dog will be dishing up week-long meal specials to cater for the acquired taste of your average Kiwi and fellow True Blue. Menu options are designed to not only represent the iconic dishes of NZ and Oz but to compliment the flavours of locally sourced ingredients found in this selection of beers.

To celebrate the culutre behind Australian and New Zealand craft beer, The Dog will also launch a collaboration brew with one of their top contenders in this world-class show down. Want to know more about the brews your drinking? Stay tuned to Meet the Brewers over the course of Sydney Beer Week.
