In the unparalleled beauty of Hobart’s waterfront, more than 20 of Tasmania’s best producers will come together to celebrate the end of vintage with all things red and warming. Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and who knows what other surprises will be there to wash down some hearty food and great music.

Whether you are keen to stock your cellar for winter, or find out for yourself why Tassie is the buzz word in the Australian wine world, or simply up for a great day out, Red Wine Weekend is an incredible opportunity to taste more than 70 wines from around the state.

This is your opportunity to meet, greet and chat with the heart of the Tasmanian wine industry - and most importantly over a glass of wine.

General admission tickets include all wine tastings for one session, a Plumm wine glass valued at $24.95 (one per person) to take home, a complete tasting booklet and the opportunity to enter into the lucky door prize to win a case of top Tassie wines. Wines* are available for purchase by the glass for an additional charge and gourmet food and coffee is available onsite.

Online tickets are on sale for each day until 9 am on the morning of each event. Door sales are then available upon entry to the event. There is discounted entry for purchasing online.

Door sales are available throughout the course of the event. Wines are available for takeaway purchase and wines by the glass are available for additional purchase throughout the event.

Red wine weekend Master classes presented by Tim Goddard, wine judge and educator, of Cool Wine with a guest winemaker at each session. A top flight of wines to taste with Informative comment and discussion. Each workshop will also include mainland and International wines for contrast.

Super Shiraz - Top Tasmanian with contrasting French and Mainland shiraz. In 2011 A Tas shiraz, ‘Mon Pere’ won the coveted Jimmy Watson Trophy- Are we on the right track can we do it again? 10 wines in total. (Class no longer available.)
