The Artist’s Way, by Julia Cameron, is an international best-seller which contains “a course in discovering and recovering your creative self.”
This 6 week workshop series offers you the space to work through weekly activities contained in The Artist's Way in a supportive small group setting. This course will help you to listen to your inner voice and discover your talents whether your medium be writing, painting or singing (or something else you are yet to discover). The emphasis of the course is to feel safe while exploring your path to creativity.
Each workshop will last for around 2 1/2 hours with tea/coffee and morning tea provided (please advise any dietary requests by email).
Workshops are facilitated by Bronwen Whyatt, who has been working with The Artist’s Way (and other books by Julia Cameron) for five years. She has recovered her love of writing, started a blog and is working on her first book.
Let the north-east facing windows and the arty interior of the gorgeous Merri Creek Studio light your creative fire in Artist’s Way in May.
Course Facilitator:
Bronwen is a qualified teacher and professional cellist who discovered part of her creative side very early in life. Patiently working through The Artist’s Way, she re-discovered her passion for writing and she has continued to follow the call of the page. In a parallel career, Bronwen has also worked in tertiary education supporting students with disabilities with practical support and mentoring them to pursue their dreams and goals. She now wants to support other creatives to work through this potent course to find their own inner artist.
