Beginning with the Vaughan Williams "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis", and ending with the Bartók Divertimento, the next Bourbaki Ensemble programme incorporates two of the great string works from the early twentieth century. There will also be Sibelius' brief but intense Romanze, and the Sibelian soundworld (think "Swan of Tuonela") inhabited by Alan Ridout's Concertino. This will be matched with Australian composer Richard Percival's "Sicilienne", forming a pair of cor anglais solos featuring our long-time musical collaborator Rachel Tolmie. Our programme is completed by the premiere performance of Sydney composer Kim d'Espiney's "Con Fuoco" for strings, brass and percussion.

- Ralph Vaughan Williams, Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis
- Belá Bartók, Divertimento
- Jean Sibelius, Romanze
- Alan Ridout, Concertino for Cor Anglais and String Orchestra (Rachel Tolmie, cor anglais)
- Richard Percival, Sicilienne (Rachel Tolmie, cor anglais)
- Kim d'Espiney, Con Fuoco
