'Roses', 'Closer' and 'Don't Let Me Down'—who hasn't danced and sung along to these hits? The Chainsmokers have indeed dominated worldwide airwaves with their string of hits that easily cemented their name in the EDM realm. Now, the duo of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall will return to Australian shores in October in support of their debut album 'Memories...Do Not Open' released last April.

They will be performing in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The announcement was made following an interview of the duo where they hinted of an upcoming tour Down Under on the latter part of the year.

Forming in 2012, The Chainsmokers got their headway in 2014 with the release of their single 'Selfie'. Three years past and they now have a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for their song 'Don't Let Me Down', a cult following on social media as well as headline shows in different parts of the world.

The Chainsmokers also became one of only three groups in history to have three singles—'Closer', 'Something Just Like This' and 'Paris'—simultaneouly in the Billboard's Hot 100 Top 10 list. The other two groups were The Beatles and the Bee Gees.
