The Mis-Made – Changeling Australian Album Tour

The Mis-Made have only just shaken off the jetlag after returning from a successful 5 week tour of the UK & Europe which included a slot on the “Introducing” Stage at UK’s Rebellion Punk Festival, and they have been invited back to the 2018 Rebellion Festival on the Main Stage!

The girls are amidst their Australian tour celebrating the release of their debut album “Changeling” (released August 1 via MGM) with more dates around the country coming up in the next few months.

This was The Mis-Made’s third European tour, which kicked off with a slot on the Rebellion Punk Festival in Blackpool UK before heading to Amsterdam, Berlin, Stuttgart, Edinburgh, Manchester, Prague, Vienna, Subotica & Budapest in Hungary, wrapping it up with a show in London; accompanied by entertaining tour updates & videos on their Facebook Page.

The 9 track album “Changeling” was produced by Lachlan Mitchell (The Jezabels, The Vines, Nitocris, The Whitlams) and includes singles that were released earlier this year “Blood Money” and “Ice”, their most recent release in June “She Rips Me Open” with the stunning clip produced by Kirsten T Smith and brand new single “Outsider”.

2016 was a huge year for the band, ending with a bang after scoring the much coveted support spot for rock legends L7 at The Metro in Sydney as well as a finalist nomination at the 2016 Music Oz Independent Music awards. They have been touring relentlessly for the past 12 months covering a lot of ground on home soil, releasing the double A-side single (Ice/Blood Money) early in 2017 which recorded at Faust studios in Prague during their last tour of Europe.

“Sydney rockers The Mis-Made are renowned for their loud meaty riffs, hard-edged dark rock and ‘no rules’ attitude. These bad ass ladies have been making a racket on the scene since their 2015 EP release, Maelstrom, which first introduced us to their explosive sound. The first taste came from tracks Blood Money and Ice, both of which were quick to impress listeners. Powered by their familiar punk-rock sound, the new material boasts bluesy undertones and a bite of something different. But the catchy melodies, haunting harmonies and pummelling rock n’ roll still remain strong. Continually carving out some dense and addictively catchy rock numbers, there’s a lot to look forward to from The Mis-Made.” - Toward Music, July 2017
