Forty years in the business and she still sends crowds into a frenzy whenever she steps on stage—Tina Arena really needs no introduction. This was particularly the case when she made a surprise appearance at Splendour in the Grass last 23rd July, singing alongside Australian indie-pop band Client Liaison and wowing a crowd of 25,000 punters.

The good thing is that the well-lauded Splendour In The Grass performance could very well be a preview of what to expect on her upcoming Innocence to Understanding – Greatest Hits National Tour this September through to October. The Australian pop music legend will be performing in Canberra, Bendigo, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Newcastle, Melbourne, Geelong, Wollongong, Sydney, Launceston, Hobart, Adelaide and Perth, celebrating her 40-year old career and her expansive catalogue of hits.

A singer, songwriter, record producer, theatre actess—Tina Arena has done it all. Little did everyone know that who was called "Tiny Tina" in her early days in the industry would grow into a world class diva, influencing and touching people from all over the world with her music. In fact, she has sold over 10 million records across the globe and every album she has released has gone gold or platinum. Her 1994 album "Don't Ask" reached a record-breaking 14x Platinum certification, making it one of Australia's biggest selling albums of all time.

In 2015, Arena became an ARIA Hall of Famer. The following year, she was awarded the Order of Australia with Governor-General of Australia Sir Peter Cosgrove pinning her medal at a ceremony in Paris. She has also shared the stage with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Andrea Bocelli and Donna Summer and collaborated with the world's biggest DJs.
