Truffle Lovers Weekend

The Flinders Hotel in conjunction with Truffle Melbourne & Red Hill Truffles has it’s first ‘Truffle Lovers Weekend’ this June. Packaging together a bit of everything to keep your taste buds going for 24 hours, this experience will be perfect for those wanting to learn more about this luxurious delicacy, or ideal for those who simply love fine food & beverage experiences.

Starting off with a truffle masterclass at Georgie Bass Café and Cookery, it’s then off to Red Hill Truffles with Jenny and her trusty sidekick Thomas as they show you how to uncover the intoxicating perfume of fresh truffle from the earth.

An extravagant 5-course degustation truffle dinner with a ‘worldly twist’ awaits you in the evening in Peninsula at the Flinders Hotel. Dishes will be prepared by chefs trained in the cuisines of 3 of the world’s top truffle growing regions—France, Italy and Australia. Each course will be complimented with local wines, and the evening will culminate in amusing anecdotes and fantastic door prizes.

Finally, make the most of relaxing in luxurious accommodation at Quarters. Your Bauer room comes with complimentary wifi, morning newspaper and late checkout. Awake on Sunday to a freshly prepared truffled egg breakfast at Georgie Bass Cafe.
