Part of the Classical Guitar Festival Sydney.

Internationally acclaimed Russian guitarist Vladimir Gorbach has captivated audiences across the world on stages throughout Europe, Japan, Australia, the USA and his native country of Russia both as soloist and with orchestra.

He has been a featured performer for some of the most highly regarded concert organizations, festivals, and musical institutions in the world, performing on the Moscow Philharmonic Concert Series, at the Koblenz International Guitar Festival and for the Sydney Crow’s Nest Concert Cycle. He also has been a soloist with numerous orchestras including the Orchestra de Las Beiras and Orchestra de Aveiro in Portugal and performed with the Russian Academic Chamber Orchestra "Musica Viva”.

As a first place winner in more than 10 of the most important international competitions (Serbia, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Greece, and Italy), his most recent win at the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America’s International Concert Artist Competition earned him a 50-city concert tour of the USA, Mexico, and Canada with appearances in Brazil and China. As a member of a group of prize laureates that include some of the most active concert artists and pedagogues in the field of classical guitar, his tour also included a Carnegie Hall debut, as well recording a CD for Naxos, the world's largest classical label.

As Head of Guitar at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Vladimir is now an indelible part of the guitar scene in his adopted city. Guitar Passion is proud to present this virtouso in concert. A Festival Day Pass is available for all 3 Festival concerts on the same day. Please go to our booking platform].
