Come and learn about the realities of living in the rural Hunter 100 years ago and serving in WWI. There will be stories, poems, and readings celebrating our past along with audiovisuals. Newcastle City Choir will sing "Songs my Grandmother Sang. Light refreshments will be available, also tours of the cottage and museum. You will also be able to use props to take a vintage photograph of yourselves in front of the cottage. This special day is being put on by the Raymond Terrace Historical Society as part of the Australian Heritage Festival season.
