Enjoy an afternoon of delectable delights, a glass of sparkling on arrival and live entertainment all for a good cause. $5 from each high tea booking goes directly to WildCare. There will also be a raffle on the day. Special guest speaker, Cynthia, from WildCare will be attending and may even bring some adorable, furry friends with her.

Wildcare Alice Springs rescue’s, rehabilitates and releases native orphaned and injured wildlife in and around Alice Springs through to Tennant Creek. They are a not for profit organisation and rely heavily on their volunteers, who generally have to pay for a lot of the costs involved in caring for the animals as funding does not cover these expenses.

Cynthia has been caring for wildlife for over 50 years. She has seen a multitude of wildlife come through and it is only with people like Cynthia that they have any chance of survival. Cynthia is an extremely dedicated individual who tirelessly takes in these animals when there is no one else. This often comes at a detriment to her husband who finds himself quite far down the food chain sometimes.

Cynthia was a nurse, so understands the basic medical concepts and medication necessary for administration and she is Wildcare’s matriarch in all things macropod, although her knowledge and skills don’t stop there. She has nursed back huge numbers of native birds and other mammals during her life also.

Bookings are essential and tickets can be purchased via the link provided.
