Join Carole Baillargeon, Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher and Principal teacher from Darwin Yoga Space, for this workshop Yoga for Digestive Health. Optimise the healing power of yoga with a focus on your core and organic body.

Digestive complaints such as bloating, food intolerance and excessive wind are very common and so are constipation and diarrhoea. Both western medical science and traditional healing modalities agree that these symptoms often point in one direction: a compromised microbial balance in the gut. This can affect the immune and nervous systems as well as one’s moods, creating a loop that perpetuates the symptoms.

Yoga poses targeted to the digestive system taught in this workshop will help you lessen your symptoms, as they release pain in the abdomen, bring more blood flow to the abdominal organs, disarm tension in the nervous system and calm the mind.

Carole Baillargeon has been practicing yoga for 31 years and teaching for 27. She uses Iyengar Yoga as a therapeutic tool to deal with her own chronic digestive problems. She has taught Yoga for Digestive Health workshops since 2014.

Carole is the founding director of Darwin Yoga Space (est.1995) and teaches in Darwin, Melbourne, Montreal and retreats in Bali.
