Come and join this celebration of the 2018 Desmond Tutu Reconciliation Fellow, Dr Zeremariam Fre, celebrating Dr Fre's work and the remarkable environmental action globally! Includes live music, nibbles and talk.

Celebrate with us the amazing achievements of Dr Zeremariam Fre, an environmental advocate for nomadic pastoral communities across the Horn of Africa, and winner of the 2018 Desmond Tutu Reconciliation Fellowship.

The Fellowship, which this year focuses on environmental care, promotes reconciliation by bringing global support to individuals engaged in local projects. It recognises Dr Fre’s lifetime work supporting pastoral peoples, advocating for their rights to land and care of the natural resources that support them.

One of Australia’s leading environmentalists and authors, Tim Flannery, will share his ideas and present Dr Fre with the Fellowship at an award ceremony at the Melbourne Town Hall on Thursday, 4 October at 6pm.

Free entry, doors open 5:30pm.

Invite your friends and networks to make this a great celebration!

RSVP: 30 September, info@globalreconciliation.org.
