Darwin has a variety of unique and beautiful beaches. A new location will be surveyed each Wednesday for marine debris, which are then sorted and catalogued on the day and added to a national database (Tangaroa Blue). Sites include Lee Point, Casuarina Beach, Rapid Creek/Nightcliff, Buffalo Creek and Mindil Beach. With your help we can reduce debris and preserve our beaches.

We meet at the Conservation Volunteers Australia Darwin office and drive you out to the site. Online bookings are essential (see link above). Please email darwin@cva.org.au or call the office (08) 8981 3206 for further information.

Important: Please wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, enclosed shoes and a hat, plus bring a water bottle and some lunch.
