Bromeliad & Tropicals Show & Sales

Come spend the weekend exploring bromeliads and tropical plants where garden inspiration is everywhere at the Bromeliad & Tropicals Show & Sales. Held by the Bromeliad Society of Queensland, over twenty experienced growers will be selling plants from bromeliads and tillandsias to tropicals, indoor plants and succulents.

Things to do:

- Buy plants!
There will be a variety of plants for sale from over twenty experienced growers including bromeliads, tropicals, indoor plants, orchids, hoyas, begonias, succulents and many more. From green thumbs to novice gardeners, you won’t leave empty handed. Kid-friendly. Plants will be refreshed throughout the event. Cash and EFTPOS accepted.

- Rare Plant Auction
For the serious collectors, there will be a Rare Plant Auction on the Saturday.

- Win some prizes and support the farmers

- Monster Raffle for the Drought Relief Appeal
We are proud to support the drought stricken farmers by donating all proceeds of the Monster Raffle to the Drought Relief Appeal. There will be two winners with prizes of a total combined value of $500 in plants.

Cost of tickets are:
1 ticket for $2
3 tickets for $5
7 tickets for $10

Tickets can be purchased at the show. Winners for the Monster Raffle will be drawn at 12 noon on Sunday 4th November and will be contacted after the drawing of the prizes. Thanks to the growers for donating the plant prizes.

- Lucky Door Prize
Fill in your details at the show to go in the draw to win $100 worth of plants, it’s free to enter! The winner of the Lucky Door Prize will be drawn at 12 noon on Sunday 4th November and will be contacted after the drawing of the prize.

- Saturday prize draws
Keep your entry ticket as there will be prize draws on Saturday 3rd November for $50 plant vouchers to use at the show. Draws will take place at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.

Winners must be present at the show to collect their voucher. Vouchers are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. BSQ is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen vouchers.

- Admire the display and competition plants
See these plants at their best at the displays and see who the winners are in the competition plants.

- Learn about bromeliads
Growers and Society volunteers will be at the event to help you choose the right plants for you and answer all your questions. Come and say hello, we love talking about broms! There will also be books available for purchase.

- Take a break
After filling a box or two full of plants, take a break. There will be plant minding facilities and refreshments will be available.
