New Wave Hip Hop Brass Band, Bullhorn are shaking off the winter blues and hitting the road for a national tour this festive season, October–January! The Sunshine Coast has become a home away from home for the band, they’re really excited to be returning to Solbar Friday January 19th!

Bullhorn have been working hard on the Australian music scene, performing at festivals and venues all over the country including Queenscliff Music Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, Port Fairy Festival, Vivid Sydney, Ocean Street Festival, Mullum Festival, Bello Festival and more. Roman MC, the front man, is intoxicating with his rhythmic word play and massive charismatic stage presence. When his skills are combined with the hard hitting sounds of 7 horns players and 1 bossing drummer the results are awe-inspiring. Their shows are a unique and incredible experience, like no other, and a must to see.

Andrea Kirwin is a singer-songwriter from the Sunshine Coast, QLD. With Australian Fijian roots, Andrea weaves melodies and story telling lyrics together to create a rich tapestry much like the way her Fijian grandmother used to weave pandanus mats in the village. Each song is crafted in a way that allows the listener to subtly enter into the space between words and really experience the story, whether it be a love story or about letting go. Her music is an earthy blend of Folk, Roots, hip hop, funk, reggae and soul, however it is her smooth laid-back vocal tones that make each song come alive.

Her voice has been likened to Norah Jones, Tracy Chapman, India Arie, Joan Armitrading to name a few. Andrea has self-produced 3 Albums under her own Record Label, Peace Run Records. Always willing to share her songs and stories, Andrea has performed all around the country in some of the smallest cafes and bars in country towns to big music festivals such as The Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Fairbridge Festival (WA), Echuca Winterblues (VIC) and many more.
