Hans Bruechle aka Handbrake is excited to announce the opening of his first solo exhibition on March 10th in a refurbished warehouse space on Cheriton Street in East Perth. Chaos Controlled will feature over 50 works by Bruechle, including a unique, custom designed and hand painted, café racer motorbike.

Handbrake has collaborated with iconic brands and companies globally, creating custom pieces for McDonalds, headphones for Skullcandy, hockey sticks for Lycan Hockey, surfboard fins for World Surf Professional Josh Kerr, and works for actor Dan Aykroyd - Chaos Controlled showcases Hans’ incredibly versatile body of work over two nights.

Handbrake’s style combines elements of graffiti and pop art, transporting art out of the gallery and onto the street creating pieces that are accessible for everyone to enjoy. The multi-talented West Australian artist, illustrator, writer and graphic designer blurs the lines between street, skate, and urban culture, reflected in his dynamic and colourful line of bespoke skateboards.

In partnership with Gage Roads Brewing Co and reSPOKE, attendees are invited to enjoy the sounds of local DJ Mike de Wet and sample local food trucks whilst surveying Handbrake’s eclectic oeuvre. Hans will be present and chatting to guests, offering personal insights into the inspiration behind individual works.

This event is free and open to the public on March 10th.
