Coastal Drift are looking forward to being part of this awesome experience! We're on stage from 7.00 - 7.45 pm on Saturday.

Classic bands play classic dance hits, exciting new bands showcase new music, and folk singers revive old favourites with their own unique twists, all because we need heroes.

Gidgestock is the music festival that raises funds for the heroes of Gidgegannup Volunteer Fire Service and Manna Industries, who have been feeding the homeless and disadvantaged for over twenty years.

At Gidgestock, we aim to help our heroic volunteers in their vital work as they head out in the heat of summer to fight blazing fires, as well as those who spend hours over stoves cooking and distributing meals on chilly nights to feed people in desperate need.

Gidgestock is a family-friendly music festival held every October at the edge of the forest in the green, rolling hills of Gidgegannup, only 45 minutes from Perth.

It is said that if you can remember Woodstock, then you weren’t really there. At Gidgestock, we have a better saying: Gidgestock, if you were there last year then you will never forget it.

It is happier, friendlier, more relaxed version of Woodstock, with great bands, just like Woodstock, but without the half-naked hippies dancing in the mud. Thankfully.

If you do happen to remember the movie of the festival, most of those hippies in the mud pool were horrible, overweight, pale doped-up New York blokes anyway.

At Gidgestock, families camp out and have a great time, old friends get together and everyone gets to listen to some of the best music the Perth scene has to offer.

All bands donate their time and all profits will benefit our heroes who will, no doubt, be extra busy this coming year with a dreadful fire season expected, and unemployment and homelessness rising as a result of the economy still reeling.

As David Bowie reminds us – Oh, we can be heroes just for one day.

We can support our heroes just for one day, at Gidgestock Music Festival 2018, and they can be Kings and Queens… for as long as they need, because of your help and your support.
