Discover your creativity through non-toxic printmaking techniques such as solar plate etching, drypoint, collagraph, monoprint and linocuts.

Join Master Printmaker Seraphina Martin as she guides you through the many printmaking processes. You will familiarise yourself with the printing press and printmaking tools with emphasis on a non-toxic work practice.

Creative freedom to explore the different printmaking mediums will be encouraged and Seraphina will cater to all levels of experiences from more experienced students wanting to further skills to the beginners who are most welcome.

Explore the world of visual art through drawing, collage and printmaking across a variety of techniques.

Some of the techniques that may be covered:
- Lino and woodblock printing
- Solar Plate etching
- Colour printing
- Drypoint etching
- Collagraph etching
- Aluminium etching

What to bring:
- Bring images for inspiration to work from. These can be your own drawings, photographs, reproductions from books.
- Please purchase necessary materials from the tutor.

Mondays from 7 May to 2 July (no class on 11 June public holiday). Beginners welcome! Suitable for 16 years and over. Material fee: Please note material fees are payable to the tutor in the first class. Early bird discount applies before 20 April 2018.
