Masses of people at the Traberhof in Rosenheim
Bruno Groening (1906–1959) caused a worldwide sensation through inexplicable healings in the 1950s. As early as spring of 1949, thousands of people flocked to Herford, Germany. In autumn of the same year, every day up to 30,000 people streamed to the Traberhof, a stud farm in Rosenheim. A miserable army of the sick and suffering. They all had only one goal: Bruno Groening. For many he was their last hope. Beaten down by war, given up by doctors, these people had only one wish: to be healthy, free from pain and suffering. They wanted Bruno Groening to help them. And he did: "There is no incurable - God is the greatest physician," were his words. The unthinkable happened: countless sick were healed: the lame walked, the blind could see again.
