The Melbourne Musicians, directed by Frank U. Pam, present a rare opportunity to hear internationally acclaimed guitarists Slava and Leonard Grigoryan with a string orchestra in an intimate venue with excellent acoustics.

They will play two works arranged for two guitars by their father Edward Grigoryan. Handel's Concerto Op. 4 No.6 in B flat major is his most popular organ concerto, which also exists in a lovely version for harp. Vivaldi's Concerto in G major, RV 532, was originally written for two mandolins, but it works very well for two guitars. The brothers will further display their seamless collaboration with some unaccompanied pieces.

The program includes popular Viennese dance music, celebrating the director's Viennese heritage and his birthday, with music by Lanner, Schubert and Johann Strauss father and son.
