Eastern Curlew Project

The eastern curlew (Numinous madagascariensis) is critically endangered around Australia. This project aims to restore important habitat to protect the eastern curlew and support the growth of the local population. Activities will include removing invasive plant species, photo point surveys and GPS mapping, bird surveys and general conservation tasks at Lee Point Reserve.

We meet at the Conservation Volunteers Australia Darwin office and drive you out to the site at Lee Point. Online bookings are essential (see link above). Please email darwin@cva.org.au or call the office 0475 979 477 for further information.

Important: Please wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, enclosed shoes and a hat, plus bring a water bottle and some lunch.
