Ghetto Shaman:
An Interactive Magic Performance built on Futurism, Sustainability and the Human Experience.

Act: 1, Caught in a World-Wide-Web

The show opens with a focus on the future of tech and global connection. The audience is asked to each use their smartphone as part of an impossible demonstration of influence while sharing a connection through their device. This unique piece is as avant-garde as magic can get. The tech part of the show is capped with a cunning piece of spoken word poetry addressing the impact social media and smartphone technology is having on our lives, covering both sides of the debate.

Act: 2, Luminary Minds

Keeping momentum, we bring focus to the incredible work of Earth’s most influential figures. From Elon Musk to Muhammad Ali, their progressive attitudes are reflected in some powerful examples of influence and foresight. Addressing the future of the world and our role in it, this chapter is wrapped with a potent spoken word poetry piece adapted each time to incorporate the decisions made by our volunteers, further embedding the positive message.

Act: 3, 100% Human

Past, present and future all work together as the show’s killer finale draws closer. Ideas of nostalgia, travel and destiny are brought forward in a sincerely relatable way as we dive into the human experience. In true Poet Laureate fashion, the show is summarised through multi-layered rhymes in a standout inspirational verse, flowing into a paradigm shattering revelation as the journey concludes.

We live in marvelous times. Just like you, I care about the future of the planet and our role in it. My purpose as a magician is to highlight these connections and deliver powerful messages through innovative magic and language. This is inspiring entertainment. This is my contribution to our future.

“This is probably the best show I’ve ever been to” – Katy Johnstone, Lululemon Ambassador

“That is THE BEST piece of magic I have EVER seen… @#$% that’s good!” – Stu Gregor, Founder of Four Pillars

“I hate him” – Karl Stefanovic, TV Personality

“We booked Adam for the Circus of Ideas last year. This is a TEDx style event in Bondi, with a sell out audience of 240 people. We loved him so much we booked him for our second show! Absolutely love his act- the combination of word swagger and magic is unique and the perfect fit for our audience. 100/10”
- Amy Lynch, Co Founder of Circus of Ideas
