GCWA Gold Coast Women Artists are a group of women from diverse backgrounds, stories and interests who come together to share their love of art and paint. They inspire and motivate each other and soon started exhibiting their work, winning awards, gaining commissions and selling their paintings.

During their painting sessions many a discussion is had ranging from current affairs, politics, women’s health and more recently to the plight of the farmers, especially countrywomen. Before paint could dry, the idea “Coastal Women Supporting Country Women” was formed.

This diverse group of women not only provided their artworks, but also used their experience and their many skills to make this exhibition a reality. This included sourcing sponsorship, entertainment; marketing via social media, radio, print, catering and the list goes on.

We hope you enjoy the exhibition, take an artwork home knowing that you will be supporting our Country Women and making their Christmas easier this year.
