Surely your new year's resolution was to make Monday evenings more eclectic and challenging. Let's start with this carefully selected program of angular music and gorgeous noise.

Fabels is a well-established duo playing atmospheric, psychedelic, shoegaze, noise pop songs. Haunting vocals, sonic squalls, thoughtful vignettes and evocative refrains, delivered in an authentic post-punk ethos. Fabels have toured extensively in Australia and Europe.

No Mandate is a new trio combining minimal dub rhythms with bold slabs of math rock. Long sections of warm, laid-back grooves alternate with short attacks of brick-heavy, irregular noise. Members of Hinterlandt, Meniscus, SEIMS, Captain Kickarse and the Awesomes, Godswounds, N000000000, and several hundred other bands.

Kurushimi is a mysterious collective that takes listeners on a dark and deranged sonic journey. Heavily improvised sounds that push the boundaries of deconstructionist noise-jazz with departures into doom, grindcore, prog, and most other weird genres.
