From the Machiavellian Melbourne Minds who brought you "Jack and Jill: The Poisoners of London" and the puppet storytelling show "The Red Bird and Death" comes A Dark Ages theatre show.

"Horrendus! The Bizarre True Trial of a Very Dead Pope"

A New Black Comedy by Matt Hood.

1.5 Hour Duration. Show includes Intermission and a Bar.
PG13: Contains some adult themes, sexual references and, well, a corpse.

As the world nosedived into the Dark Ages and the Roman Empire was but a skid mark of the underpants of history, rivalry to be the next Pope was at an all-time murderous high. Long before Blackadder wormed his way into the royal trousers, Cardinal Theodore wrangled the nefarious, the naughty and the downright deranged in his bid to wear The Really Big Hat.

He was used to a daily dose of crazy. It came with the gig. The one morning Pope Stephen IV dragged the rotting corpse of his predecessor from its grave and put it on trial.

Inspired by actual historic events.

Yes, really.
