We are so pumped up! To welcome the amazingly talented Children's author and illustraror Sue deGennaro to our little leafy corner of the world to teach your Tiny Artists all about the Art of Illustration!

Sue has illustated so many amazing Children's Books including the adored Peas and Quiet (One of my personal faves!)

A little about Sue:
Sue deGennaro is an author and an illustrator. She has illustrated 16 picture books, and is the author and illustrator of The Pros and Cons of Being A Frog (shortlist for the CBCA 2013 Early Childhood Prize) Her second picture book Eddie Frogbert was released Feburary 2017. Her most recent illustrated book is Peas and Quiet by Gabrielle Tozer (HarperCollins 2017). Sue’s illustrations are quirky and infectiously funny. Sue has worked in many careers (including confectionery, circuses and home renovations!), and now (between making books) she often teachers writing & illustration.

The Details:
Age: Prep to Grade 6

What does my Tiny Artist Learn?
Sue will teach our little creatives to draw 2 characters out of the book. This will be done by a step by step process. They will spend time identifying the changes that take place between the roughs and the final publication, we will discuss which they prefer and why.
