Join us for an amazing afternoon to hear Katie Sarah's inspirational story. Katie, who recently celebrated her 50th birthday at Manaslu base camp Nepal (followed by a successful summit) and mother of 3 from Adelaide, became the first woman in the world to complete the fabled Seven-Seven challenge earlier this year after she summited Antarctica's Mt Sidley on January 14, joining only seven other climbers in history, all of them men, in this elite club.

Come along, hear her incredible story and be inspired. Many people are familiar with the Seven Summits challenge, where a climber must summit the highest peaks on seven different continents (a number of Australian women have already achieved this goal) but to qualify for the Seven-Seven, Sarah not only conquered the Seven Summits, but also the seven highest volcanic peaks across the world in some of the most remote locations on earth.

Incredibly Sarah's journey only started in 2006 with a successful summit of Bolivia’s highest peak, Navado Sajama (6542m) which saw her take her climbing interest from the gym, to Moonarie and then to the world.
