11th November 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the armistice to end armed hostilities of The Great War to End All Wars. To mark this event, the Museum together with the Tea Tree Gully and District Historical Society have prepared a special display that focuses on life at home here in South Australia during that war.

We share memories and acknowledge the impact war had on the home front. How did family at home cope with daily life while constantly thinking of their brave soldiers? As you wander through the rooms view heartfelt stories and local memorabilia from this challenging time.

Also take the opportunity to visit our four pavilions, blacksmith, police cell and laundry. Surrounded in a beautiful garden setting take time to explore. Devonshire Tea is available and our Gift Shop is stocked with unique craft.
