Bankstown Central’s Market Days event is happening is guaranteed to make every food lover’s dream a reality—with a terrific lineup of your favourite foodies using the freshest farm-to-plate ingredients, all from in-Centre.

There will be five cooking demonstrations daily at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm with introductions by chef and wine aficionado Robert Dessanti of The Wog with the Grog fame who will also host a session and join some of the guest foodies in the kitchen.

Local favourite Hoda Kobeissi will also be demonstrating her culinary magic each day of the event which will be held in a customised kitchen located opposite Woolworths near the Stacey St entrance. Visit Bankstown Central website for full details and timetable.

Guest and celebrity foodies include:

- Hoda Kobeissi and Aldo Ortado from the 2018 MasterChef series. Hoda’s food style is all about homely baked goods, particularly Middle Eastern sweets while Aldo shares his passion for seafood and authentic southern Italian cuisine gained from the very best teacher possible: his nonna.

- Sam Matar from Tarboosh Lebanese Kitchen, recently seen on Studio 10 TV wowing the hosts with his famous falafel and dips

-Josh Sama, semi-finalist from My Kitchen Rules, a former pro-football players who learnt to cook first hand by observing his mum and nonna at home and in the family restaurant

- Award-winning Carving Designer, Daniele Barresi is world renowned for his extraordinary carving abilities transforming fruits and vegetables into beautiful flowers and other artistic creations

- Western Sydney Food Blog’s Alice and Sharon - a mother and daughter who are passionate supporters of fresh, delicious food and produce in Western Sydney

- Belly Rumbles culinary blogger Sara McCleary shares her own delicious recipes and those of some of the world’s most prominent chefs and restaurants;

- Francesco Zarrella is an Italian chef based in Sydney who offers a modern and delicious twist to all of the classic recipes

- Wayne Chambers from Jamaican Delight showcases authentic and traditional Jamaican dishes, each with its own unique story, giving an insight into Jamaican history and culture

- Ted from Ted’s Photography is a Vietnamese cook and photographer and a serious food lover, creating and documenting his authentic Vietnamese dishes with beautiful images

Local retailers will also be on hand with free food tastings and to assist with making your produce choices.
