After celebrating its first birthday, Coorparoo Square will rein in the festive season with a bustling one-off Christmas pop-up market in collaboration with Brisbane’s Metre Market.
Back from a hiatus, the boutique fashion and creative market is the first to deck the halls of the lifestyle and eatery precinct and is set to welcome bespoke local designers, recycled fashions, handmade homewares, DIY workshops and live music from 10am to 2pm.
Locals and visitors alike are invited to shop local and experience the free event and take part in one of a kind experiences, including a guided wreath making workshop valued at $79 per person. Spots are limited so it is recommended to get in quick to avoid disappointment.
The precinct expects to draw in crowds from across Brisbane, interested in exploring the boutique stalls and the local dining and lifestyle retailers.
In the spirit of Christmas, visitors are encouraged to donate a gold coin with all proceeds supporting the Women’s Legal Services Queensland.
The fun and games will continue from 10 to 21 December with the Coorparoo Square Cash Cube, giving visitors the chance to go into the draw to win retailer prizes and gift cards to use within the precinct.
The Cash Cube will be available Monday to Friday between 4pm to 8pm and Saturday to Sunday between 12pm to 4pm.
More prizes will be up for grabs on the Coorparoo Square Facebook page throughout the festive season in their 12 Days of Christmas digital giveaway.
