Restful Waters and Women’s Health & Wellbeing Service (South East) welcome you to join us for ‘Mindful Mothers in May’.

This 5-week Mindfulness course for mothers has been created to give back to the women who help others the most. The journey of motherhood brings many new and moving experiences and a constant process of discovery.

Each Thursday in May 11am–12:30pm, we will be sharing the tips and techniques of mindfulness. Enjoy the relaxing practices that encourage connection and kindness. This is a chance to take some time to self-care and nurture the woman within.

The gifts of Mindfulness help to reduce stress, regulate emotions, improve moods, enhance connection and support you to thrive through the transformations of motherhood. Motherhood offers many opportunities each day to practice mindfulness which will assist you to meet the physical, mental and emotional demands of raising children.

During May we will cover;

- What is mindfulness?
- Helpful mindfulness techniques
- How to work with our thinking
- Techniques for understanding and handling intense emotions
- Practices that cultivate connection and heartfulness
- How mindfulness can support effective communication and interactions with others

Invest some time for yourself to learn these valuable self-care practices, which will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. As our Mother’s Day gift to you and to support you through your month of Mindfulness we will provide you with a 28 day online Mindfulness Care Kit. By accessing a closed Facebook Group you will receive daily tips and techniques to keep you motivated and committed to your practices, which is optional.
