Music By The Sea presents its 16th annual festival in Sandgate with one exceptional day and evening of jazz, folk and world music on Saturday, 6th January 2018. The Festival opens at 11am with a concert from Francis Gilfedder, who, with a collection of world wind instruments performs a special tribute to Sandgate. He is followed by Oi Dipnoi jazz/folk trio from Italy (Sicily). Later, Bungarribee with a mesmerising form of jazz and then join Andrea Vettoretti and Massimo Scattolin (Italy) for an evening of classical guitar.

Virtuoso pianist, Joe Chindamo with his trio, is to perform the headline Jazz concert on Saturday night at 8pm. Between town hall shows the popular free Cafe Series continues, linking the community with special multicultural performances in local venues.

There will be morning sessions at Matthew Thomas Cafe at 10am–11am and 12pm–1pm and an evening session at EclecTea at 6pm–7pm.

Please note that tickets are for the whole day and not single concerts.
