With a number of complex choices announced in the government’s recent Budget, navigating the financial aspects of aged care can seem very complicated for many. SummitCare is helping remove the stress by hosting free information sessions at its new residential home in Baulkham Hills for anyone who needs guidance on their financial options, and attendees at the information sessions will also be able to take a tour of the newly released suites on “The Avenue”.

The two-hour free sessions will be run by leading financial advisors Affinity Aged Care who specialise in aged care financial advice. The firm usually charges on a fee for advice basis, meaning it does not accept commission from investment product providers. Robert Craven from Affinity will comprehensively cover areas including:

- fee structures and affordability of care;
- correct structuring of your assets and income;
- maximising your Centrelink/Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) Pension entitlement;
- minimising the ongoing cost of aged care; and
- decisions around keeping or selling the family home and your estate planning wishes.

Bookings essential. Please call 02 8865 3600 or visit SummitCare website.
