Yoga to Go Studio (YTGS), in Petersham, has just announced its first Yoga & Wellness Weekend Retreat for 2018. Running over three days, this retreat provides attendees the chance to refresh and renew after the busy and indulgent Christmas period.

Romina Sesto, Director and Yoga Teacher at YTGS says that many students come back to studio after the holidays full of resolutions, promises and positive intentions for the New Year, but find it hard to stay on track with all the pressures of work and life, and very quickly lose momentum.

A weekend yoga retreat gives you the opportunity to get away from the routine and stress of everyday life, and allows you to establish new habits like healthy eating and daily yoga or exercise. It also gives you space and time to reflect and work out your priorities for the year. It’s like pressing the reset button on your mind and body.

Located and easy drive just 90km North of Sydney in Palmdale, Awaba Retreat offers a range of single and shared rooms, swimming pool and spa, walking trails in the surrounding 22 acres of gardens and natural bush lands, as well as a dedicated and fully equipped yoga studio. Delicious vegetarian food is prepared fresh each day and the seasonal organic produce is locally sourced.

You don’t have to use your annual leave and go all the way to Bali or Thailand, and you don’t need to pay thousands of dollars to stay in a 5-star resort. Simple elegance and getting back to nature is all we really need to invite balance and transformation into our lives for 2018.
