Usher in the end of exams and the beginning of warmer times with a delectable, dancey instalment of Nocturnal at Melbourne Museum on Friday 2 November featuring Lanks, Baro, Clypso, Adult Films, and DJ Susan (Becky Sui Zhen).

You can also nourish your brain with talks themed around palaeontology. Do not miss Dr Lindsay Zanno, Head of Palaeontology at North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, in her only public event in Australia. She'll be sharing incredible stories in the Museum Theatre, with combined lecture and Nocturnal tickets available here.

Lanks is a true electropop force that just keeps on building. With two recent sold out Melbourne shows and brand new LP twentyseven under his belt, multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter Will Cuming will deliver one of this summer's most inspired live shows. Infectious, luscious melodies and bombastic percussion will have you swaying in the dark.

Melbourne lad Baro will bring smooth sounds to the Nocturnal stage, with his super chill yet imminently danceable hip hop sounds. This is one cool, calm and confident performer, prepare to enter the zone and go on a journey filled with the best in Australian rap performances.

Clypso is a multicoloured, maximum-fun dream of a performer. Fresh from some smashing performances at Bigsound 2018, you'll be able to dunk yourself in her jungle-infused troptronica, and glitchy afro-punk vibes. It's wild stuff.

Adult Films
Alt r'n'b outfit Adult.Films have been making Melbourne feel smooth things with their debut EP Faux.Real. Don't miss their visceral, dynamic sounds that challenge the conventional, and delve into the human psyche.

DJ Susan
DJ Susan (the amazing Becky Sui Zhen) will be setting the scene between sets, with drinks and snacks and experiential elements throughout Melbourne Museum's cavernous, spectacularly lit entrance hall.
