Where: Claremont Showground, 1 Graylands Road, Claremont, Western Australia

Australia’s biggest pinot festival is going global and in 2018, the pinot train will tour Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and make tracks to Hong Kong for the first time. After selling out to a record crowd within two weeks in Japan earlier this year, Pinot Palooza will head to 11 cities and five countries with a sixth in the line-up for 2019 as they add Los Angeles and New York to the roster.

Brought alive by the master of events Revel—formerly known as Bottle Shop Concepts, the team behind cult wine event Game of Rhones & Mould – A Cheese Festival—Pinot Palooza which is now in its seventh year, is a celebration of everyone’s favourite flavour Pinot Noir, and the best way to experience a wide range of styles from across Australia, New Zealand and beyond. In fact, more than 100 wines will be available in each city.

Pinot Palooza is Australia’s fastest growing festival combining good food, good tunes and of course, good wine! This year, the event will feature the best pinot noirs produced in the southern hemisphere and beyond with pinot fans looking forward to tasting wines from the likes of 2017 People’s Choice Winner Moondarra, runners up Vinteloper, Mt Difficulty, Charteris, Chatto and many more. New to this year’s event will be Bar Vermouth, where attendees can taste some of Australia’s best Vermouths.

REVEL Director Dan Sims said, “Each year this event just keeps getting bigger. The response in Japan was incredible giving us the confidence to further expand into Hong Kong. We can’t wait to share the pinot love across Australia and New Zealand, the return to Singapore and Hong Kong for the first time this year.”

“Plus, we just locked in a venue for Los Angeles next year with New York following closely behind. Oh, and did we mention Shanghai in 2020? We won’t stop until this is the biggest celebration of Pinot Noir on the planet," he said.

Each ticket includes a take home Plumm red wine glass (valued at $35) and unlimited wine tastings. Tickets for all cities are now on sale. For those wanting to live the life of a VIP for the day, limited tickets are available for those revellers keen to enjoy a glass of fizz on arrival, exclusive pre-event access plus access to a dedicated lounge area, wine talks, time with legendary sommeliers, winemakers and much more.
