Presentes! - A Personal Odyssey of Love and Loss in a Foreign Land

Suzanne Ingelbrecht performs "Presentes!" a personal odyssey of love and loss in Argentina, in a free one-hour show. Song and seduction, tango and tragedy, this is the very personal story of Suzanne’s experiences from the birthplace of tango (Buenos Aires) to the land of fire (Tierra del Fuego); the disappeared victims of South America’s ‘dirty war’ in the '70s—and the disintegration of a long standing friendship.

With an original tango-inspired soundtrack composed by Cathie Travers, accordionist and directed by Igor Sas, this compelling, evocative tale of love and loss, set against a backdrop of political violence and survival, is a journey of discovering one’s resilience in the face of unpredictable life events.
