Presented by Co3’s Act-Belong-Commit Co:Youth Ensemble

See a new generation of young dancers take to the stage in Project Next, an impressive contemporary dance performance jam-packed with youthful energy, creativity and local talent.

Project Next is an annual program for Co3’s Act-Belong-Commit Co:Youth Ensemble, where the young dancers reimagine existing Co3 repertoire, creating an important artistic dialogue between generations, and producing fresh and original dance works.

For 2018, the Co:Youth Ensemble have crafted three new works in response to The Zone, the critically acclaimed performance created by Co3 Artistic Director Raewyn Hill in 2017. Three central themes from The Zone (community, natural disasters, and surrealist art) form the thread for the trio of new works. The young dancers have been guided in the studio by choreographic leaders Ella-Rose Trew (Co3 Associate Artist), Zoe Wozniak, Scott Galbraith, and Jessica Lewis.

Join us for this unique performance and celebrate a new generation of contemporary dancers and creative thinkers in Project Next.
