Renowned for his captivating live shows and superbly crafted songs dragged up from the depths of the soul, award-winning singer-songwriter Rich Davies is gaining a reputation as one of Melbourne’s most authentic and engaging artists. With a poet’s heart and a rocker’s soul, Davies spent his formative years in the folk clubs of Scotland, steeped in the ethos and traditions of the genre. The evolution of his new second album "Ghosts," has seen Davies reconnect with that world, as he peels back the skin of rock’n’roll to expose Old-Time Folk, Americana and Celtic bones.

Rich will have a full band in tow (The Low Road) so expect equal parts fragile and fierce, spanning a sonic spectrum from tender ballads to upbeat foot stompers. Melbourne’s most loved duo The Weeping Willows are steeped in bluegrass and draped in gothic Americana imagery. Theirs is an uncommon and intoxicating mix of love affair and musical union.

2017 was a busy year for The Weeping Willows seeing 4 nominations for CMAA Golden Guitar awards, several successful National Tours, International supports in support of their sophomore album "When Darkness Comes A-Callin'.” This show kicks off another action packed year for them and Ramblin’ Nights are very excited to finally have them play. Peta Caswell (Sydney) will be leaving her band at home to open the night with a stirring solo set.

Peta possesses a voice that will stop you in your tracks, with newly written tunes ready to be unleashed, mixed with some older favorites. 2018 is looking to be a big year for Caswell.
