Shag Rock continue their incredible home run with the announcement of a seven date East Coast tour. Coming just as the Brisbane band put the finishing touches on their first release for 2018, this fresh run of headline dates see the 'Shaggers' bring their infectious live show to three states across two weeks.

Celebrating the band's success to date, the June headline shows are a chance to pay homage to clocking five million streams of their music globally and a hugely fruitful debut jaunt in the US at the end of 2017—which saw the band perform at the Mondo Rock festival and for a full house at the World Surf League headquarters in Santa Monica. The band has also hit the stage in support of a raft of Aussie legends, including Good Boy, Ocean Alley and The Belligerents. Recently they also performed in front of a 3,000 strong crowd at Stones Corner Festival and Surfers Paradise Live.

Currently hard at work with producer Ian Haug (Powderfinger, the church), Shag Rock are exploring on a more refined, diverse sound with the first fruit due to drop early June. Of the new soundcape, singer and guitarist Alex Wilson refers to it as 'our magnum opus... just joking. It's our best work yet and we can't wait for everyone to hear it.' Until then, tickets are on sale for all dates from today.
