One of New Zealand's most successful exports, platinum selling R&B heroes Six60 hit Australian shores in just over a month for the New Waves World Tour with pals, Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz. Following huge performances in front of sell-out crowds in Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, England and Norway, the groups bring their explosive new show to all five major Australian cities this January.

Six60 promise new music like their number one single 'Don't Give It Up' will definitely be included in the set list. The EP currently takes up six of the top eight songs on the New Zealand music charts and with every song from their new self-titled EP listed in Spotify Australia's New Music Friday, streaming numbers are soaring across the ditch with Aussie audiences catching up quickly.

Spending most of 2017 working new music, Six60 recorded in Auckland, London and LA alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Printz Board (Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake). The master producer also worked with the band on their platinum-selling second self titled album which still remains in the NZ top 40 charts after a staggering 128 weeks.

Frontman Matiu Walters says that the band can’t wait to get back on stage to debut the new material down under. This time they're bringing new friends Nico & Vinz. The Norwegian duo are known for their emotive R&B with singles 'Am I Wrong' and 'That's How You Know' both reaching #2 on the ARIA Chart.

“We met Nico & Vinz when we were recording in their studio in LA and discovered that we’ve got a lot in common in what we believe about music and the way it affects and connects people, and how our music is influenced by our roots and genres like R&B," says Matiu Walters.

“The New Waves World Tour represents how music is like the tides that ebb and flow, eventually ending up on the other side of the world. Both bands have got new parts of the world to see, and fresh music to share with our fans."

Nico & Vinz say “We saw some of the footage of Six60 tours from the past and it's exciting to think about playing in front of such a passionate incredible crowd.”
