Learn to make Feta and Mozzarella—quickly and easily! The class is perfect for the complete beginner and just someone who wants to expand their cheese-making skills, you can either just observe or get hands on. This is a cheese making demonstration where you will learn about milk selection for cheese making, inoculating and renneting the milk, and finally how to turn the curd into the final cheese.

This cheese making workshop provides numerous opportunities for everyone to get hands-on, and up-close at all stages throughout the class. The workshop aspect allows you to take notes and really take in the information, whilst the hands-on opportunities will have you feeling confident in your own ability to make these delicious cheeses at home.

The course is conducted within the commercial kitchen at The J Noosa. The techniques learnt can easily be applied outside of the course so that you can make your own cheeses at home. This workshop is designed to be informative, and just as importantly, fun and relaxing. You will enjoy a cheese morning snack and heaps of interactive! Lastly, you will leave with the motivation, confidence and knowledge to get started on your own cheese-making journey.

Class includes:

- A comprehensive demonstration of how to make: both feta and mozzarella with hands-on experience.
- Take home Starter Cheese-making Kit: Recipe Booklet, cheese baskets, rennet (vegetation), blue reusable cheesecloth and starter culture.
- Everything you need for the workshop is provided, including a light afternoon with a range of artisan bread, cheeses and preserves to enjoy while you cook.
- You will need to bring an apron and head scarf/chef hat.
