An enchanting concert of romantic French songs and piano music by Fauré, Debussy, Chaminade and others, in the style of a Parisian salon concert of the period known as La Belle Époque. From 1870 to 1914, culture flourished in Paris—poets, painters, musicians and composers met in the celebrated salons of Paris to share their art, and this concert recreates that experience for today’s audience.
Soprano Laetitia Grimaldi has sung in renowned halls and opera stages worldwide since her debut at Carnegie Hall in 2013, and appeared at the Verbier, Aix-en-Provence and Leipzig Music Festivals.
