Paul Kennedy is an author and presenter with ABC television with more than two decades journalism experience. He has worked in news and current affairs for three television networks and annually presents ANZAC Day parades for the ABC. Currently, he presents sport on the popular national morning program News Breakfast.

‘Stories From the Media’ is the topic of this talk, and in an era of fake news Paul will provide some interesting behind the scenes descriptions about working as a reporter in a busy TV news room.

As an author his books include: Hell on the Way to Heaven (co-authored with Chrissie Foster), a key component in the push for Australia's largest Royal Commission; Fifteen Young Men, a story about the fifteen Mornington footballers who were lost at sea in the last decade of the 1800’s.

A married father of three sons and former AFL reserves player, he is now a successful youth sporting coach and is an advocate for better youth sporting participation.
