Melbourne’s The Attics have always had a knack for creating persistent earworms that wedge into your brain and tickle the nerves responsible for street strutting and hip shaking alike, and new single 'Pastel Blues' is just that.

After a recent run of shows opening for indie duo Slum Sociable, and a packed single launch at The Grace Darling in August, the four-piece have acquired a live show that is a joy to behold. The Attics have graced the Festival line-ups of By The Meadow and Canada’s Indie Week Toronto and are a true delight to witness live. With dreamy guitar hooks, driving bass lines and heart stirring percussion, the band will be bringing their signature feel-good vibes back to Melbourne to launch ‘Pastel Blues’ at The Gasometer Upstairs with support from Househats and Feelds.

"There’s something austere and untouchable to The Attics’ music. Stark and distinctive, their unique brand of indie-rock comes built with dazzling aesthetics and dripping in jangly, untouched contrasts." - AAA-Backstage

"I just love the spirit and the pace of this poppy groover. Why? Put it on your iPod when walking through your city. You’ll feel groovy, you’ll look groovy and your swaying hips will get enough attention to cause a buzz and make everybody go groovy and singing out loud ‘wondering how it feels bad to be good all the time." – Jean-Luc, Turn Up The Volume

Supports: Househats and Feelds (solo)
