The Little Lord Street Band (W.A) first national tour as a 5-piece are heading east to play Smith's Alternative Canberra from around 8pm onwards showcasing our greatest hits (from 3 Ep's).

The Little Lord Street Band, winners of the Best Country Act at the 2017 Western Australian Music Awards (WAM Awards) started off the year with the release of their single ‘Heartache Moon’ and are now announcing their first national tour in support of their EP, ‘Waking Up Next To You’ (Out April 13).

With a reoccurring theme that stems throughout the EP, ‘Waking Up Next To You’ is all about the passionate fights that occur between two ardent artists/ lovers, who have too much spare time together and very little money.

In the fun-loving manner that makes up The Little Lord Street Band, this is a light-hearted, good-humoured take on a long-term relationship that any well-connected couple can relate to and laugh at because we all have our flaws that push the other halves buttons at times.

With yet another feel-good track that can be thrown on to ease the tension after a small bickering session, The Little Lord Street Band showcase their optimism in life and ability to shine a light on tough times.

‘Waking Up Next To You’ will be The Little Lord Street Band’s third EP release which follows ‘Walk With Me’, released in 2016, that was recorded in Nashville. They later supported acts including The Whitlams, Ruby Boots and Jack Carty, followed by performances at a slew of festivals across WA including WAM Fest, Fairbridge Folk Festival and the Nannup Festival.

For the very first time, The Little Lord Street Band are touring nationally for the release of the EP.

Support from Belle Harvey
Belle is a woman for all seasons, whether mesmerising audiences performing her own songs on guitar and lead vocals or as the perfect foil as a bassist and backing singer for others. That versatility and willingness to serve the music is what has made her into one of Western Australia’s most respected roots music players.

Over the last decade, the 2016 and 2017 WAM Best Country Act Nominee has performed across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and in the UK and performed at festivals including Tamworth Country Music Festival (NSW), Bungendore (NSW), Nannup Music Festival (WA), and Wignalls Blues Festival (WA).
