In the busy world today Anxiety is a cause for concern for many of us. Anxiety is a general term for several disorders that cause nervousness, fear, apprehension, and worrying. These disorders affect how we feel and behave and can cause physical symptoms. Mild anxiety is vague and unsettling, while severe anxiety can seriously affect day-to-day living. We will embark on a journey and take away with us tools for our toolbox to help us including:

Praṇayama is a Sanskrit word alternatively translated as "extension of the prāṇa (breath or life force)" or "breath control." The word is composed from two Sanskrit words: prana meaning life force (noted particularly as the breath), and either ayama (to restrain or control the prana, implying a set of breathing techniques where the breath is intentionally altered in order to produce specific results) or the negative form ayāma, meaning to extend or draw out (as in extension of the life force). It is a yogic discipline with origins in ancient India.

Guided meditation is a process by which one or more participants meditate in response to the guidance provided by a trained practitioner or teacher, either in person or via a written text, sound recording, video, or audiovisual media comprising music or verbal instruction, or a combination of both.

Relax with a sound journey, lie comfortably and allow yourself to go on an inner healing journey whilst listening to Native American Flutes, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, Rainstick and more. Enjoy light refreshments and herbal teas that you can easily prepare at home to help you keep calm.

Colouring in - What exactly is a Mandala?
Would you be surprised to learn that mandalas have existed since the beginning of time and that you probably witness and experience their beauty every day? Simply stated, a mandala is a sacred circle.
The word mandala comes from the ancient Sanskrit language and loosely means “circle” or “center.” It’s a simple geometric shape that has no beginning or end. Within its circular shape, the mandala has the power to promote relaxation, balance the body’s energies, enhance your creativity, and support healing. The great news is you can achieve all of these benefits while having fun with your mandala coloring pages.

Finally we connect with nature with a walk around the beautiful garden and take in the scents of rosemary, lavender and connect with the earth. Take home with you a Calm and Serenity aromatherapy blend (valued at $21) containing essential oils and Bach flower remedies to help you when feeling overwhelmed.
