Come join 'Guitarras Gitanas' and 'Triplex' for a hot summer night of exotic sounds and compositions written and inspired by sounds and styles from across the globe. From the Latin/Spanish guitar duels of 'Guitarras Gitanas' to the Afro/jazz/rock freak outs of 'Triplex', there is something here for everybody. This will surely be a night not to be missed with some of Sydney's most formidable musicians coming out to play.

Blake Keep & Matt Gough AKA "Guitarras Gitanas".

Blake Keep & Matthew Gough are two musicians driven by a playful energy that’s intoxicatingly entertaining. With a play list ranging from soulful popular music ballads and haunting folk tunes, jazz manouche to Spanish and Latin.

Blake and Matthew have toured with major world and Australian artists such as Lulo Reinhardt and Diesel and while both incredible guitarists, they have recently integrated other musical elements such as vocals and a percussionist "Cameron Gregory" into their performances creating new musical ideas, arrangements and repertoire.

Formed in 2014, Triplex play music that is a cross pollination of styles from around the globe. Using elements of Jazz/Funk and World music, Triplex play progressive compositions that stretch the boundaries of harmony and rhythm. Consisting of the funky bass of Andrew Morris, The inventive syncopated beats of Spider Man Tim Bradley and rounded out by the lyrical and syncopated African jazz guitar of renowned guitarist Michael Coggins, Triplex will take you on a global journey inspired by the people, places and musical traditions of the world.
